The Design Heritage
The League of Legends Snowdown event has been a staple of the MOBA community since the game launched in 2009. These ornaments pay homage to the specific aesthetic of the winter-themed skins, including festive variations of champions like Jinx, Braum, and Teemo. Each figure represents the visual evolution of character design within the Riot Games universe, mirroring the detailed models seen in-game during the December holiday patches.
Fans of the franchise recognize these characters as the core of the competitive meta. By including these champions in a daily countdown, the set serves as a functional piece of gaming memorabilia. It transforms a standard holiday tradition into a daily ritual for players who spend their time climbing the ranked ladder or participating in seasonal events.
Care and Maintenance
To preserve the paint detail on these figures, keep them away from direct heat sources and prolonged UV exposure, which can cause color degradation over time. Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove dust from the crevices of the ornaments. Avoid chemical cleaners or solvents, as these may strip the protective satin-gloss finish.
Each ornament includes a reinforced gold-tone loop for hanging on standard holiday tree branches. The flat-bottom design allows for stable placement on desks, gaming shelves, or computer monitors. When the season concludes, store the figures in the original internal plastic tray to prevent scratching or accidental breakage during the off-season.
Are these ornaments compatible with standard tree hooks?
Yes, each figure features a sturdy gold-tone loop designed to fit standard holiday ornament hooks or ribbons.
What is the material composition of the figures?
The ornaments are manufactured from high-density PVC and ABS plastic, providing durability against accidental drops while maintaining intricate character details.
Can these figures stand on their own without hanging?
Yes, every ornament is engineered with a flat base, allowing for stable display on flat surfaces like gaming desks or shelves.
How many unique champions are included in the set?
The calendar contains 24 unique, individually sculpted champion ornaments, one for each day of the countdown.
