This project came to me in early 2016 while I was teaching at the School of Visual Arts MFA Design Curriculum in NYC. The program had only opened the semester before. I was facing a writer’s block and needed to find an idea that would work as an introductory design class project. This piece is part anti-Trumpalist protest art and part functional fashion object equally influenced by American political culture and Italian Neo-Futurism. Should we be ultra MAGA or not?
