Beautifully handmade and professionally printed with environmentally friendly dyes; made in the USA. Barbara Burns was born on 17th December, 1940 in Nat-Chez casino in Louisiana. Being born to a family which did not allow her education because of her gender, she never attended school and hence could not learn English. She married Reddie Freeman and had 12 children.

She took that first step of courage at the age of 55 when she learnt to read through one-to-one sessions with her grandson Pete. And it’s this journey towards diligence and perseverance that makes Barbara so phenomenal!
