This is where “The King’s Speech” comes in, a 2011 film directed and co-produced by Tom Hooper, which details of the therapy undergone by George VI of England and how he managed to overcome his debilitating stammer.
The movie was successful with the public, grossing over $135 million worldwide on a production budget.
Cambridge Computer Services used a passage from the movie as an introduction to their marketing campaign in order to boost sales of their speech-therapy and voice coaching service.
In 41 words, they describe how George VI grew up as an unmanly, stuttering loner when his father died in 1919 but went on to become the King and fight fascism with Winston Churchill during WWII.
