The story behind this sweater is worth mentioning first and foremost. Back in 1983 founder Suge Knight created the simple roo slide mortis as a “livable souvenir” for the locals on Aboriginal land near Maze Creek Reservoir in Australia. That design would later inspire the sweaters found in Death Row Records stores from Los Angeles to Amsterdam to Tokyo that adorned the necks of hip hop legends, legends who are still widely known by their label’s name.
