They are cooperating with the Bengals’ partner, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Disabled American Veterans. This started with a small fundraiser project back in summer 2018, where they’re partnering with the Cincinnati-area Boy Scouts to sell BBQ buffet packages. All profits of these packages were given to Dick’s and DAV to be distributed to service members who are transitioning back into civilian life by providing veteran kits that had male hygiene items.
In addition, bottles are donated to shelters in order to provide services for veteran families while they await permanent housing or services that veterans may need such as shelter pets, winter coats, and bike locks.
