Every October, the NFL and AFL like to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Cleve Brian, president and general manager of the Carolina Panthers has been an ardent supporter since 2000. In 2001, the Carolina Panthers became the first professional sports organization to host a monthly breast cancer awareness game show at all home games during October.
In September 2006, they started using pink in their logo
It was after 2016 that they started designing specialties t-shirts and posters for every game in October. After 2017 World Championship, they added it to their championships package
