The Autism Sweater Foundation creates sensory-friendly clothing with a makers’ internal system called “Butterfeel” that makes this clothing more comfortable than any others. Many designers and creators from around the world come together to make beautiful, handmade custom goods for people with autism! Kate McClure is an artist, designer, and textile enthusiast who became interested in Autism education projects to help kids communicate. Her goal was to create autism-friendly items that make daily tasks easier without removing child’s clothes.
She made slippers with the help of her family, which are proved to help people with Intellectual Disabilities or medical problems. These flat knit slippers allow children to be quickly put on or taken off by anyone.

Developed as a substitute for sleeves that get tangled in wheelchair restraints, these cozy cozy sweaters provide warmth for autistic children and are an alternative solution for wearing wraps at home. Integrated mittens on the sides make it possible for an autistic individual to take care of their teeth
