As a therapist, I am frequently asked to give advice on overcoming anxiety and stress. But what do I actually do when my clients come to me with those challenges?

In addition to CBT, other strategies that have worked for me include journaling, exercise, and deep breathing exercises. Trying out different techniques is always the best way to find what works for you and your specific challenges. Does your cat like being brushed? A paw scrubber is made of sturdy bristles on a long handle, and is designed to remove dirt and debris from a cat’s paws. Paw scrubbers are great for cats who have extra-dry skin or those who have sensitive paws. However, paw scrubbers can be difficult to use properly, and they don’t always evenly clean a cat’s paws.

Another way to brush a cat is with a specialized brush called a ‘finger brush’. Finger brushes are typically shorter than paw scrubbers, and they have soft bristles that are designed to gently remove dirt and debris from the cat’s coat. They’re less challenging to use than paw scrubs, but they don’t always get the fur all the way down to the skin.

The best way to brush a cat depends on the cat’s individual needs and preferences. Some cats like being brushed with a paw scrubber, while others prefer using a finger brush.
