Prince modeled the shirts after the POD design by Polo Ralph Lauren in 1998 and hired Xiaotong Avon Wang from Alibaba’s Taobao App Design Engineering Center to help with printing and filming for promotional purposes, so that “my polo shirt can also be shipped and look as sophisticated as LV’s.” The price for all these would be just $212.46 after including delivery – almost 90% cheaper than LV’s version!
