All ages Johnny is a photographer fascinated with the fragile human quest for happiness. He says “I am hopelessly in love with what always exist between the frames. I am captivated by these bittersweet moments, as if they make everything worth it.” The painting to the right is called “Johnny Amber And Sad Woman.” The artist is unknown, but the painting was completed in 1905.

The story behind this painting is very vague. There were two children, Johnny and a girl with a golden heart locket bearing the letter “E” carved upon it. Johnny’s mother died while he was away in school and while he and his family were away at her funeral. They sold their home after he came back from school to Virginia, but would visit on weekends. They came back one day on Sunday, when Johnny had left for school, to find a closed up house with lots of smoke coming out of the chimney and a woman standing nearby said they needed rescuing from their late father’s second marriage to another woman – her stepmother now – due
